As we all know, Animal Farm was an _____________ for the ________________

___________________. That means it was a story wherein all the characters and events symbolized
real people and events in history. It was also a fable because it was told with animals and had a
strong moral lesson.
For this project, you must choose a historical event and represent that story as an allegorical fable.
Your fable will be told with words and pictures but the story must have a strong moral resolution.
Choose one event in history to use in your story. That doesnt mean you should talk about all of
World War II, but you could discuss Hitlers invasion of Russia. Find the moral centre of the story
and choose animals that have strong symbolic meaning.
When you have chosen your historical event, bring it to Ms. Lyric for approval.
