    What is post it?
    Post it is a lemon strategy that requires the objective to be visible in the classroom for students to see.
    The objective should be in the same location every day.

    What is the purpose of post it?


    The purpose of Post It is for anyone that visits your room, including students, are able to identify the
    purpose of your teaching.

    How I used post it


    I have used post it in every lesson and it has been extremely successful- at first I felt awkward having
    the students read the objective but each I have realized it is incredibly important for students to
    understand why they are doing something.
    the student friendly objective for each lesson has been I can
    ask and answer questions to show that I understand a text,
    using only the text for the answers. I begin each lesson by
    reading the objective to the students, followed by reading the
    objective together as a class. The students then write the
    objective down in their notebook or wherever the work will be
    done that day.
