REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Cooler, Transmission Fluid Auxiliary

Removal

Remove the radiator air deflector (8327).

Remove the four radiator air deflector bolts.

2.

Remove the radiator air deflector.

Place a drain pan under the transmission auxiliary fluid cooler (7K177).

NOTE: On 5.0L, the radiator (8005) must be loosened to provide access for removing the upper transmission fluid cooler screw.
Loosen the two upper radiator hold down screws.

4.

Remove the transmission auxiliary fluid cooler.

Disconnect the two transmission auxiliary fluid cooler hoses.

2.

Remove the three transmission auxiliary fluid cooler bolts.

3.

Remove the transmission auxiliary fluid cooler.

Installation
1.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
