Activity Summary: The purpose of this activity is for students to continue practicing mental math
within problems that may or may not equal to 100. This activity will allow students to place
different basketballs into cages that represent if the problem that is on the basketballs equal to
100.

Determine the unknown whole number in a multiplication or division

equation relating three whole numbers. For example, determine the unknown number that
makes the equation true in each of the equations 8 ? = 48, 5 = 3, 6 6 =?
