Halimah, I really enjoyed reading your response to this topic. I agree with you on all of the points that you reinforced. Before reading this chapter, I honestly never put that much thought into the possible consequences of my writing. For me, it was really just about getting the project done as quickly as possible. Now, however, I know that it is very important how I portray my participants and that the way in which I do portray them can easily affect them. Because of this, I have been spending much more time ensuring the identities and dignity of each of them as well as the group in general.
