Working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities
Minimum Qualifications:
* Must have and maintain a valid CDL Class B drivers license with Passenger
Endorsement.
* Minimum of 3 years of driving experience with a driving record clear of moving
violations, suspensions, and accidents.
* Able to supply 2 business references.
* High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
* Must be able to pass a state and federal background check.
* Must be able to pass a drug screen (results negative).
* Must be available to work a minimum of 30 hours per week in various shifts
between 6AM 4:30PM.
* Must be able to work a flexible work schedule which may include nights and
weekends.
* Must be able to carry and lift 25 pounds.
Key Competencies:
* Prior experience working with developmental disabilities preferred.
* Must be able to communicate in English (verbally, reading, and writing).
* Must use good judgment in dealing with emergencies that occur during transport.
* School Bus Endorsement is a plus.
