Community Development Regional Manager

This position is responsible for working strategically and professionally with regional partnerships, and local communities
to deploy Arkansas Economic Development Commission technical assistance, programs and services that provide tools to
prepare regions and communities to excel at all facets of economic development.

Duties:
1. Provide service to assigned counties in Northeast Arkansas.
2. Convene public and private stakeholders and resources to promote growth and opportunities in assigned territory.
3. Develop and provide training, implementation and general assistance to enhance opportunities in assigned
territory.
4. Coordinate with federal, state, and local entities on behalf of AEDC for the betterment of assigned territory.

Minimum Qualifications: The formal education equivalent of a bachelor's degree in marketing,


general business, or a related field; plus three years of experience in program management,
marketing, or a related field. Additional requirements determined by the agency for recruiting
purposes require review and approval by the Office of Personnel Management. Other job related
education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements, except
for certification or licensure requirements, upon approval of the Qualifications Review Committee.
