M-STEP
Seventh graders are testing this week. Please pass quietly in the halls between
classes. Seventh graders remember there are to be no electronic devices in the
testing area. Please leave all electronics in your lockers.
PIZZA FOR CHANGE
Starting this week we will be collecting money during lunches for our Pizza for
Change campaign. You can donate a dollar to buy a slice of pizza for someone in
need who lives in the Greater Lansing area. Lets see how much change we
can make in our community by donating pizza slices to those in need! Spread
the info about our campaign on social media by using #pizza4change. See a
student council or builders club member for more information.
TRACK
Congrats to our girls track team for swatting the hornets in last nights home
meet 84-50. First place finishers were Brooke Bradley in the 3200, Aleyna Gross
in the 55 Hurdles, the 4x200 team of Mutatu, Valley, Root and Williams, Molly
Lehman in the 800, Brenna Bailey in the 400, the 4x800 team of Shine, Homan,
Busch, and Bradley, Jordan Valley in the 70 and the 200, the 4x400 with shine,
homan, bailey and gross, Kenzie Hammontree in high jump and long jump and
Leah Root in Pole Vault.

6th GRADE INTRAMURAL BASKETBALL
Sixth grade intramural basketball will begin on Tuesday, May 12 from 2:30 p.m.
3:30 p.m. Intramural basketball is open to all 6 th grade boys and girls and will
run Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays throughout May. A physical is not
required to participate. Participants should wear gym shirt, shorts and tennis
shoes. If you have any questions see Mr. Newcombe.
ASTRONOMY
Astronomy club members have been invited to a stargazing night at the MSU
observatory this coming Friday at 9 P.M. There is still room for students to
attend. Please see Mr. Kimball for details.
