STUDENT COUNCIL
There is a meeting today after school in Mrs. Cummings' room. Your field trip
money is also due to Mrs. Cummings by tomorrow. Please see Mrs. Cummings if
you have any questions.
PALS
Attention all PALS, there will be a PAL meeting today during lunch in the
counseling office.
TRACK
Congrats to the girls track team for trojan horsing Owosso. We snuck in and stole
the victory with our first place finishers. Aleyna Gross in the 55 Hurdles, the
4x200 relay of Olivia Green, Ella McKinney, Olivia Sabec and Mikayla Williams,
Brenna Baily in the 400 and 200 Hurdles, the 4x800 team of Fiona Shine, Sophie
Busch, Hannah Homan, Brooke Bradley, Jordan Valley in the 70 and 200 Meter
dash, the 4x400 team of Fiona Shine, Vongai Mutatu, Brenna Bailey, and Aleyna
Gross, Kenzie Hammontree in High Jump, Vongai Mutatu in the Long Jump and
Leah Root in Pole Vault.
Kyle is the best
In boys track action, Logan Cross won pole vault, 200 hurdles and long jump.
Quinten Hernandez PRd in the 55 hurdles, Garrett Young PRd in shot put, Paul
Schmidt and Dennis Whitaker PRd in the 800 in a very close 2 point loss.
ALL 8th GRADERS
8th grade party lip-sync forms are available in the office. They are due back
tomorrow. We have only had one turned in. There are cash prizes for 1 st, 2nd, and
3rd place. Do not wait until it is too late!!
MUSEUM CLUB
Museum Club members or any students interested in joining the Museum Club. Our next
meeting will be Monday 5/11 from 2:30-4 in Mr. Pineda's classroom. We will be finalizing
the last details of our History of Haslett Exhibit.
ROBOTICS OPEN HOUSE
The Haslett Robotics Club will hold an open house tonight from 6-8pm in the
Media Center.
Come explore this new club and see what it is all about!
HASLETT DANCE TEAM AUDITIONS FOR 2015-2016
If you love dance and want to represent your school as an ambassador, leader
and performer, attend the informational meeting on Monday, May 11 th @ 3:00
pm and the clinic on Monday, May 11 th from 4:00pm-6:00pm here in our middle
school gym.

6th GRADE INTRAMURAL BASKETBALL


Sixth grade intramural basketball will begin on Tuesday, May 12 from 2:30 p.m.
3:30 p.m. Intramural basketball is open to all 6 th grade boys and girls and will
run Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays throughout May. A physical is not
required to participate. Participants should wear gym shirt, shorts and tennis
shoes. If you have any questions see Mr. Newcombe.
POPCORN
Popcorn will be on sale today during lunches.
