8th GRADERS
Attention all 8th graders interested in playing freshman football - there will
be an informational meeting on Friday at the end of the day in Mr.
Woodworth's room. If you have any questions or can't make it please
contact Coach Fisher. Athletes will be released by an announcement.
POPCORN
Popcorn will be on sale today during lunches. Regular popcorn sells for $.50
and caramel for $1.
BOOK CLUB
Book Club will meet today.
ALL PALS
There will be a PAL meeting on Friday during lunches in the counseling office.
Please bring your lunch and be on time.
STUDENT COUNCIL

Your next meeting is Tuesday, January 20th. Please see Mrs. Cummings if you
have any questions.
TRAVEL BASEBALL
Attention all 6th, 7th & 8th graders interested in playing travel baseball! The
Haslett Youth Baseball Club will be hosting two days of tryouts on January
25th from 3:00 to 4:30 and February 1 st from 11:00 to 12:30. Interested
students should pick up a flyer in the office for more information regarding
this opportunity.
YEARBOOKS
Yearbooks are still on sale in the office and on-line. Yearbooks purchased
prior to March 6th will be sold for $32 and will come with a name plate. Books
purchased after March 6th will cost $35 and will not have a name plate.
TECH CREW
Any student interested in participating on the Middle School Tech Crew
should pick up an application in the office by the end of the day Friday,
January 16th. Spots are limited.
LACROSSE FUN DAY
Haslett Lacrosse is holding a Lacrosse Fun Day on Saturday, January 24 th
from 10 to 12 at the Haslett High School practice gym. Boys and girls grades
6,7,8 are invited to this free clinic. No registration is required just come
and have fun with friends! Equipment will be provided and pizza and drinks
will be served to all participants.
