Family Fun Day Maudslay Pub

Please come along to the Family Fun Day at the Maudslay Pub, 12 – 2pm Sunday 5th June. All proceeds
will go towards All Souls’ School…….. Penalty shoot out, bouncy castle, face painting, sweet stall etc.
When you are out and about look out for our new banners advertising this fun day donated by Miss
Cowley’s partner.

Ice Lollies on Sale

After half term, ice lollies will be on sale at the end of the school day every Monday,
Wednesday and Friday, 50p each. (first week back - only Wednesday & Friday)

All Sorts
Vacancies in All Sorts’ Early Years and Before and After School Care from September. If you are
interested please contact a member of staff. Parents currently using All Sorts’ services should have
received a letter and booking form. Please return your reply as soon as possible.

DRIVEWAY
Despite our request last week, vehicles are still putting children at great risk by using the drive at prime
times. Earlier this week a motorcycle nearly hit a child and both she and her mother have been left
deeply shaken. DO NOT USE THE DRIVE IMMEDIATELY BEFORE OR AFTER SCHOOL

Piano Lessons
As children move on to secondary school there are some vacancies for piano tuition
from September. Please see attached letter from Miss Faulkner.

Piano Assembly
Parents, family and friends are invited to an assembly led by those children who are learning to play the
piano 9.15am Friday 24 June.

Tag Rugby & Tennis

Please see attached letter inviting children to attend some additional after school clubs. Y5
& 6 Tag Rugby every Wednesday for 4 weeks commencing Weds 8th June. This course
is free.
Y3 & 4 Tennis every Wednesday for 6 weeks commencing Weds 8th June. This course
is £12.

PTA Ladies Night

Thank you to all those who came along to the Ladies Night last week. Lots of nice things were bought
and we raised £280 which will buy a new mobile display unit for the library. Thanks to the PTA and all
those who helped.
Tesco Vouchers
We need to gather in all Tesco vouchers by mid June so please send any you may have into school. Many
thanks.

TennisTournament
Congratulations and well done to all those children who took part in the tennis tournament against
Parkhill, Eastern Green, Limbrick Wood and SS Mary & Benedict, at Tile Hill Wood School earlier
this week. All Souls’ Team A (Diarmuid, Cameron, Maddie and Ciara) won the Y3 & 4 tournament
and Team B (Grace, Jude O’C, Shannon and Philip) came third. In the Y5 & 6 tournament Team A
(Tom, Louise, Kirsty and Keelan) came third and Team B (James, Roisin, Enya, Sean) came fifth.

PTA Meeting
Please come along to the next PTA meeting 6 – 8pm Tuesday 7th June in the school.

Final Order Date School Uniform

Fri 10th June is the last date we can accept uniform orders for the new academic year. The next order
date will not be until November.
