Inquiry Question:
Why do terrorists terrorize innocent people?
Purpose:
I am doing my inquiry project on the motives behind terrorism because I want to understand the
logic behind terrorists who take such premeditated actions such as bombing a city, or killing
innocent people.
What goals are they trying to reach?
Has it been effective?
Is it symbolic?
Who are the terrorists?
Why do they do what they do?
Argument:
I think that terrorists may have some psychological problem that makes them go out and start
killing people.
Others may digress and say that they may not have a psychological issue, that in their mind it
could be the moral thing to do in their society due to the lack of power or maltreatment from
government.
