become a weapon of choice among the
terrorist group because of its lethality
and ability to cause mayhem and fear

US thought liberalization and
democratization of muslim societies
could prevent September 11 type
attacks and policies based on such
assumption may foster development of
domestic and foreign policies that are
likely to worsen situation 341
Suicide terrorism isnt about religion but
a cocktail of motivations. Individual
suicide missions are not about dying
and killing alone but gaining community
approval, political success, liberating
homeland, achieving personal
redemption or honor. 341
Suicide bombing is unlikely to diminish
without tangible progress in achieving
at least some of the fundamental goals
that suicide bombers and those
sponsoring and supporting them share.

Its getting popular because it causes


the most fear. Its like a trend among
certain parts of the world.

I think of ethnocentrism. The us tries to


force their ideas on another group can
cause problems because the other
group does things completely different.
The view conflict and makes things
worse.
There is some incentive to suicide
bombing.

So there is a possibility that


negotiations can work.
