Conclusions
Only 15.4% of the student population support the
addition of more gender neutral restrooms
We can estimate, based on national statistics, that
approximately 15 - 30 people who are transgender are
on campus on a weekly basis
Hamline University is facing a possible deficit in the
coming fiscal year, currently the university does not
have the funds to undertake such a large scale
renovation

Recommendations
Begin taking steps to make Hamline more transinclusive
Provide a gender neutral option in all future campus
facilities
Publish a comprehensive list of current gender
neutral restrooms on the Hamline website
