Igor Irodov
Igor Yevgenyevich Irodov (Russian: ; 16 November 1923 in Murom - 22 October 2002)[1] was a Russian physicist known for his
highly respected book Problems in General Physics. His
books are the prescribed practice material for national
and International Physics Olympiads in several countries.
He also authored Basic laws of electromagnetism and
Fundamental laws of mechanics.

March 22, 1954 I.E. Irodov was hired by the department
of physics at the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute,
led by IV Obreimov, as assistant. From October 1957
I.E. Irodov worked at the Department of Physics, has led
IV Saveliev, a senior lecturer from June 1958 - as a lecturer. February 13, 1960 I.E. Irodov was approved in
the academic rank of assistant professor in the department of general physics. Certicate of Associate Professor IBC number 000373 was issued by I.E. Irodov March
21, 1960. On March 29, 1976 I.E. Irodov worked at the
Department of General Physics as a professor. November 25, 1977 he was conrmed in the academic rank of
professor in the department of general physics.
