StuCo Career Fair Deemed a Success

Student Council held a Career Fair on Friday, April 10th. We had seven speakers whose jobs
were: civil engineer, deacon, cosmetologist, EMT, RN, police officer, and a lobbyist. Students in grades
second through sixth rotated to each speaker for fifteen minutes. Officer DeJong also spoke to
kindergarten and first grade. Students enjoyed listening to the speakers and learned a great deal. We
are going to make it an annual event. A big THANK YOU to our speakers who donated their time and

As we draw near to the end of

the Easter season, Jesus wants us
to think about his teachings and
spread the word just like the
apostles. Jesus spent forty days in
the desert teaching the word of his
father and talking about his new kingdom,
Heaven. So we would like you to be apostles,
too. Teach people about Jesus. Spread the word
of God. So what word of God will you share?

We would like to invite you to our last day of

school COLOR RUN/WALK and PICNIC. Festivities
begin at 11:00 A.M. and will conclude at 1:00 P.M. An
order form for our color run/walk t-shirts is in
todays envelope. StuCo is providing one t-shirt for
each student, and you will be able to purchase one.
Please read the information in your envelope. So write
it down...Wednesday, May 20 at 11:00...Sacred Heart
