A Management Graduate from the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (1979) with
over 30 years of experience in Sales, Advertising and Marketing. Currently
runs his own Consultancy service-Synergy Marketing Advisory Services,
Mumbai. I specialize in providing end-to-end 360solutions for New Product
Development and Launch, Brand Revival and Training.
With an experience of having launched a number of successful brands and
worked on over 25 different brands across industries and in various product
categories, I have developed a unique package titled Brand In-Sured. The Brand InSured package distills the learning from each of the successes and failures to arrive at a
universal methodology of reducing the risk associated with the introduction of New Products
and Brands. This package with modifications is also used to revive and reposition problem
brands.
Having established consumer product divisions from scratch, and involved in the training and

Briefly:
I started my career with Hawkins Pressure cookers Ltd. and later worked for Grant Kenyon
and Eckhardt (Now Contract Advertising) and Wipro Consumer Products before embarking on
a career as a Consultant.
The brands that I have launched and handled include Hawkins Pressure Cookers, Colgate
Palmolive, Wipros Santoor and Shikakai soap, Sunflower Vanaspati, Wagh Bakri Tea, UTI,
Tractor and APCA from Asian Paints, SBI Mutual Fund, Tips and Toes Cosmetics, Fevicryl
from Pidilite, Golden Glades Resorts, V N Jewellers etc.
I have been a project guide to students of the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies
and also a visiting faculty for courses on Marketing Strategy at the NM Institute of
Management Studies. Apart from this has been a guest faculty to a number of Management
Schools.
As a man power developer I have worked as a facilitator, trainer and a content provider to
some of the companies best known & demanding companies like Hindustan Lever, Johnson &
Johnson, UB Group, Kores India, Godrej & Boyce, Kamani Oil Mills, DMart etc.
