I see that your college is searching for a physics professor and I would be the perfect fit for this
position. I think I am qualified for this position based on my creativity, problem solving skills, and
experience in teaching. I have had much experience in my past student teaching experience
which has taught me to be patient with students and get ideas across effectively. This will be
necessary for a physics professor because they will have to make the students understand and
stay interested. I work well with other people and have good leadership skills seeing as I was
FFA officer for two years. I have good organizational skills, having been secretary for one of
those years. This will help me make lesson plans organized and to avoid confusion in them. I
also am very creative and can show you new labs and lessons that other professors would not
have thought of. I am a quick learner and though I do not currently have any experience in the
college teaching environment specifically , I have had extensive experience in the physics and
this will further help me teaching students and making them want to stay.
