Changing States of Matter

To support Ss to plan and conduct an investigation of
whether the observable properties may affect the way
we utilise them within our environment.
Activity One- Looks at water as a solid, liquid and gas,
and the processes in which it undergoes to progress
through each state of matter.
Activity Two- Experiments using processes of filtration
and distillation to separate states of matter and change
them.
Activity Three- Reflect on the concept of the lesson.
(Changing states of matter) FOCUS: Scaffolded
worksheets, guided T group.
CORE: Independent or group work may be allowed.
EXTENSION: Looks at other matters that can be
changed, and other processes through research and
