The Confucius Institute at Colorado State University

Two months ago, I went to Confucius Institution at Colorado State University. Confucius
Institutes, it is a Chinese non-profit institution. The goal of Confucius Institutes is promoting
Chinese language and Chinese culture. Helping more different races and nations to make the
communication. In Confucius Institutes of Colorado State University, most learners from
different countries, such as Japan, Vietnam, England and America. Whatever learners' Chinese
speaking level, the teachers will help them speaking and writing basic Chinese dialog and some
simple Chinese characters. In this semester at Colorado State University, Confucius Institutes
prepared some fabulous activities, On February 19, it was Chinese traditional spring festival
date. Teachers will help learners to study making Chinese knots. Play some games. In that night,
teachers assigning homework and made learners free chat to each other. There is no doubt that
the spring festival night is the most fun night. It is the easiest way to help learners study Chinese,
both education and entertainment. In addition to learning Chinese culture, learners in Confucius
Institutes can also make more friends.
Since 2004, the first Confucius Institutes established. Up till now. Confucius Institutes
had established over 480 Confucius Institutes in different countries. It is popular among teachers
and students. At Colorado State University. Confucius Institutes established in 2013. On
Thursday 4 to 8p.m. Chinese Corner open and welcome to all on campus and off campus
students to participation. This class did not record for credits, and no cost to attend. Therefore,
any students can come to study freedom.
