JOB OUTLOOK

The job outlook is expected to grow as

fast as the average rate through the year
2018. Job prospects are expected to be the
strongest for those who hold a doctorate
degree in an applied specialty area. The
larger awareness of child mental health
should also help increase the demand and
need for child psychologists.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Some psychologists work alone,

conduction research or working with
patients, while others work on a team with
physicians and social workers. Many
psychologists are self-employed. Many
counseling psychologists have their own
offices and can make their own schedules.
Some typical workplaces include hospitals,
rehab, mental health centers and clinics.

ADDITIONAL

Being a child psychologist is very important to

me. They say anyone can be a hero; well my way
of being a hero is saving peoples lives from
depression, anxiety, and many other disorders. A
psychologist is a very important role in the world.
They help people when somethings wrong; its
like having a friend that truly knows just how to
help out when something's wrong.
