OBJECTIVE
To provide the participants with technical
knowledge on the operation of a wireline
unit, how to operate and how the
subsurface production and down-hole
equipment are installed, controlled and
maintained. Participants will also gain on
the safety awareness and better
confidence which is important when
observing a wireline unit operating in
their field.

1. Safety:
Job preparation, down-hole
safety valve, tubing clean
out, running procedure of
tubing end locator, well start
up
2. Wireline unit:
The winch unit & power pack,
lubricator, work preparation
3. Subsurface
completion
equipment:
Packer,
landing
nipples,
polished
nipples,
flow
couplings, blast join, sliding
sleeves side door, side pocket
mandrel
4. Control and maintenance:
Gauge
cutter,
scratcher,
impression block, blind box,
swaging tool, wireline finder,
