    Photographscancapturepowerfultruthsormessagesfromasubject.Inmyphotograph,
    itmightatfirstseemasrandom.However,ifyouexamineityouwillunderstandthatitis
    showingatransformation.Inmyphotograph,itbeginswithagreenandlivelyarea,butwiththe
    adventofindustrialagricultureinthisregionthelandbecauseworseandworse.Eventually,in
    theendthelandbecomesinfertile.Manydidnotunderstandwhatexactlythepicturerepresented,
    howeverwhentheyfoundoutthemessagetheywereappalled.Theywereshockedathowsucha
    changewouldoccurtotheland.Iwassatisfiedwiththefactthatthephotographwasableto
    evokeemotionsfrommanypeople.However,Ifeelthatonephotographisnotsufficienttomake
    thisprotestsuccessful.Iwouldneedtocreateotherphotographsandpopularizethem.My
    photographgarneredsomeattention,butIfeellikethatitdidnotreceivemuchattention.This
    canbepartlyrelatedtotheamountofattentionmyfacebookpagereceived.Ifmypagehad
    receivedmoreattention,myphotographwouldhavehadalargeraudience.However,Icould
    solvethisproblembyutilizingthePromotericononFacebook.Ithasanominalfeeof$10,but
    theawarenessitwouldbringismoresignificant.Iamnottheonlypersonwhousedaphotograph
    asaformofprotest.MishkaHennerandScottBauerarephenomenalprotestphotographerswho
    havetakenpowerfulpicturesofthenegativeimpactsofconventionalagriculture.Theareaof
    protestphotographyisquitesmall,soitsfutureisbleak.Itsprominencehaswanedwiththe
    inceptionofotheravenuesforprotest.However,thereishopethattheremightberesurgencein
    protestphotography.FacebookpageslikeHumansofNewYorkshowphotographsof
    differentpeopleinNewYork,andthispagehasbeengainingmomentum.Thisshowshow
    photographisstilleffectiveinchangingsituationsandevokingemotions.Theprocessofmaking

    photographsisdifficultbecausephotographyislikemakingapainting.Ithassomanydetails
    thatittakesmanydaystocreateaphotograph.Overall,aphotographisaneffectivemethodof
    protest.
