Aim of the course
Students, in this course, will learn about the basic principles and
techniques for the preparation of microscopic slides (for light and
electron microscopy) of animals, plants, and bacteria. In addition, they
will also learn about routine and special staining techniques using
normal and abnormal tissue samples. The also learn the cytological
preparation and their importance for the diagnosis of disease
especially cancers. Finally they study and learn several types of
Microscopy focusing on light and electron microscopy.
