Undergraduate students can apply for the scholarship as per the information given in following table. Students are advised to read complete
information at web links and verify their eligibility before applying. Please follow the procedure as outlined.

B. Scholarship Sanctioned by Other State Governments for Students hailing from their States

Students are advised to visit Websites of (i) Social Welfare Department (ii) Scheduled Caste and (iii) Scheduled Tribes
welfare websites of respective states from which the student is hailing from.
For example, students hailing from Andhra Pradesh should see the website of Andhra Pradesh Social Welfare/ SC/ ST
Welfare Departments website only.
Similarly, Students hailing from Gujarat should refer the website Gujarat Government Social Welfare/ Scheduled Caste and
Scheduled Tribe Welfare Departments website.
Students may note that eligibility, parental income and other terms and conditions for sanction of scholarship, amount of
scholarship etc., differ from one State to another State.
Scholarship Application should be downloaded from the websites of respective States.
Students may kindly note that mere submission of application by the student does not confer any assurance or guarantee
for sanction and getting of the scholarship.
Scholarship Section, NITT will forward the scholarship application received from the NITT students, to the Social Welfare
Departments of concerned State Governments for consideration at their end. Sanction or otherwise of the scholarship is left
to the discretion of the Scholarship Sanctioning authority of the respective State Government.
No oral enquiries will be entertained by Scholarship Section, NITT, regarding Sanction or otherwise of the scholarship of the
State Government concerned.
As and when the scholarship is sanctioned by the respective State Governments, NITT scholarship section will notify through
circular in the Institute website, the names of the students who are selected for scholarship. Individual students will also be
informed by NITT scholarship section, over phone.
