Headmasters Newsletter 13
26h September 2014
Splendid pastries, superb green cupcakes, chocolate-dipped
flapjacks, sponges, biscuits and shortbreads, and an
especially awe-inspiring homemade chocolate cake,
assembled themselves to create a magnificent spread
throughout today, Friday 26th September. This is taking place
as I write this newsletter Brontes Macmillan coffee
morning/afternoon tea celebrations. The delectable offerings
have been greatly appreciated by children, parents and staff
alike, and thank you very much to all who baked cakes or
brought in cakes for the day. What a wonderful effort. After
today, we will I am sure have raised some very good funds for
Macmillan Cancer Support.
The schools participation in Macmillan coffee mornings was
started by Margie Dyson, and this year the tradition has been
carried on admirably by June Egan.
