    Dear Mr. Tasini,

    As an initial matter to avoid any claims against you of hypocrisy or grandstanding, I would hope that you
    have sent a similarly strong worded letter to each and every county chair or county committee that has
    already endorsed in the United States Senate race. Further, I wonder if many --or even any-- counties have
    afforded you any opportunity at all to address them prior to their endorsement.

    As for Senator Gillibrand having the opportunity to address the New York County Executive Committee,
    the incontrovertible fact is that she is an elected official and New York's Democratic Senator. Should you
    ever occupy that position you would enjoy that same opportunity.

    In closing, I hope that you do come to Thursday's endorsement meeting and share your vision for New
    York and this country. Naturally, that political decision is entirely up to you.
