Objectives
At the end of the course students are expected to:
-

Read and comprehend different types of simple texts such as narrative,


descriptive and argumentative, identifying their structures and relevant
information.
Write simple texts to describe lifestyles, narrate events and give opinions.
Speak about personal information, past experiences, predictions for the
future and to express opinions.
Understand simple oral texts from different sources: radio podcasts, TV
shows, commercials, etc.

Evaluation

First term: 15%


Second term: 15%
Final exam 40%
Classwork + Project: 30 %

Attendance is compulsory along the semester.
