Impacts:

1. More doctors, schools and other services have come into the city. Many
people can now come into So Paulo and not have to worry about their
education or if they get sick. They can now receive a higher education and the
proper care if they get sick.
2. The life expectancy has become larger. People are now expected to have
a longer life than in the past when they thought people wouldnt live long. The
reason for that is there are now low death rates and high birth rates.
3. Since the city has become more urban, there is more pollution in the city
then there use to be. Since there are more people living here then before, this
has caused more pollution to go into the air, along with on land and in the water.
4. The amount of traffic on the roads that are poorly maintained has
increased drastically. More people are now traveling and the roads are not
maintained properly and the way they should be. This causes issues with traffic
and also the safety of the roads for people to be traveling on.
5. In So Paulo there is now a lack of homes for people to live in. With more
people coming to live there, the housing has become an issue. Many houses are
lacking the essentials to properly function, including water, electricity, and sewer
systems. A lot of the homes are makeshift homes that are there for people to live
until they can find a proper home for them to live in.
