PREPOSITIONS - PREPOSITIONS OF MOVEMENT

We use prepositions of movement with verbs of movement such as: walk, run, swim, fly,
jump, come, go, etc.

TO
We use TO when we indicate our final destination, where we go.
Examples:
Sally walked to the door and rang the doorbell.
I go to the park every day.
Can you go to the drugstore, please?

FROM
We use FROM to indicate the point where we start.
Examples:
She walks home from her office every day.
Ted is coming from downtown.
They travel from town to town selling their products.

AROUND
We use AROUND to describe a circular movement or movement in no particular direction.
Examples:
Peter ran around the park.
She walked around the store looking at everything.
Turn around the corner and go straight for two more blocks.
