Animated Literacy (English Program)

This month, students will learn about our last letter: z. We will also continue to
review all of the letters and sounds.

Parents Night
We want to thank all the families that came to celebrate with us for Parents
Night on May 28! We had so much fun
Track and Field
KB, KF, KL and KM students will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of
exciting activities that keep our bodies active and healthy on Thursday, June
11th. Remember to send a hat, water bottle, sunscreen, and money for the
canteen. Drinks and various snacks will be available for purchase. $2.50 should be
plenty to send with your child on this day. Please put money in a labeled Ziploc
bag.
Mass
Our final school liturgy will be on June 16th at 10:30. All families are invited to
attend.
Assembly
Our final assembly will be on June 25th at 9:30. Students are asked to dress in
red & white to celebrate Canada Day.

Vet Clinic Visits

For our June fieldtrip, the kindergarten students will be visiting a local Vet Clinic.
Please see below for your childs scheduled visit:
KB: May 15th @ 10:30
KC: May 15th @ 1:30
KL: May 19th @ 9:30
KM: May 19th @ 10:30
KF: May 19th @ 1:30
Parents coming to join us are asked to arrive at the school 10-15 minutes early as the
times on the calendar indicate the actual tour times and we will be walking there.
Home Reading and Library Books
The last day for home reading and library book exchange will be during the week
of June 1 June 5. Please have your child return all books for the following week.
If your child has misplaced his/her home reading book, there will be a $10.00
charge to replace the book.
T-Shirts
Our t-shirt order should be received within the next couple weeks. We will send
home your childs t-shirt once they are received.
Year End Celebration
Our Kindergarten classes will be celebrating the end of the year on June 24 th,
with an assortment of indoor and outdoor games and activities. Please send your
child with their swimsuit and a towel, as we will be playing in/with water. We
will also be having a Box Social during our stay-cation. A newsletter with more
information will go home shortly.
Thank you for all of your help and support during this past school year. Have a
great summer break!
