KidWorks: pele touching lives with hope Game 19022 Chesenue Avenue May 21, 2015 ‘To Whom It May Concern: As the Director of After School Programs at KidWorks, I am privileged to recommend to you a Volunteer from our organization, Elizabeth Walsh, and to write this leter on her behalf, Elizabeth has been an invaluable blessing to us and has served with our organization since September 2013. Whether she is tutoring children in various academic areas, assisting staff with program and. curriculum preparation, or spending time with a child in need, her dedication and presence alone significantly contributes to the holistic growth of our students in central Santa Ana Ever since meeting Elizabeth, she has continually impressed me with her compassion, maturity, and ability to complete diverse responsibilities with excellence. She thrives in situations where she has had to exhibit leadership, patience, and strong oral communic: students, Ieeall a specific time when one of our students shared with Elizabeth that her hair is short because she shaved it off in support of children suffering from cancer. She, in tur, was able to share with her that she has donated her hair to Locks of Love three times. You could see that it was gratifying to both to be able to connect and share that moment between the two of them. Her dedication and love for our children is clearly evident through her deep desire to see them succeed in all areas oftheir lives. In addition to Elizabeth's strong leadership skills, she has a deep and genuine love for people that Thave rarely seen in others. She is always willing to listen and offer words of encouragement to the students. Her commitment to relationships and understanding the hearts of others is undoubtedly one of her greatest strengths. Elizabeth would be an invaluable asset at any educational institution, Her natural ability to give instruction and tailor subjects to each students learning style is truly amazing to observe.
