Subtract Three-Digit Numbers?

CCSS Standards:
Understand place value.
Use place value understanding and properties of operations to add and subtract.
Use place value understanding and properties of operations to perform multi-digit
arithmetic.
Main Lesson Aims (Concepts, Procedures, & Processes):
This lesson focus in mathematics. Through this lesson the students will be able to
subtract three-digit numbers. Also, they will know when they will need to borrow
(especially when the first number ends with two zeros and the second number does
not have zeros in the ones or tens places.

I will give each group 6 Bees which


include a subtractions question. Then, I will ask
them to answer the question on the bee and stick
the bee on the cell of bees. After that, I will
evaluate each group and reward them.

- When subtracting, the student overgeneralizes from previous learning and
subtracts the smaller number from the larger one digit by digit.

- Tell them that in subtraction the greater number at the first (top).

two groups and other two groups she
will give them cards pack. The students
will active with teacher because they
already know how to subtract three

Reflection
Through this lesson, the problem that I face was on time management. I dont set a
specific minutes for each activity wherefore I dont complete my all plan activates and
I dont achieve my aim. As my class was
not so successful and my teacher give
me some comments such as, focus more
on time and students management, I will
try in the next lesson to do more best
job and set a time for each activity. I will
do a variety activates which have a high
force to make students more effective
and to achieve the main aim of my
lesson. Also, my important aim is to be
better teacher in teaching practice which
help me to be perfect teacher in future.
