My attempt to place record in board documents seem thwarted by those with serious misunderstanding of my intentions. ‘As | mentioned in the meeting, my review of board minutes from the past showed no indication that this matter had ever been discussed at Personnel meetings. After being prodded by board members, upon investigation again of her personnel file, the only information I found (available to me) related to the health matters of this employee was basically the packet | had_ personally placed there. As far as | can see, the record currently is replete of the evidence necessary to move forward with the care and fairness due to this teacher. | remain convinced that we need to develop this case file for the teacher concerning historical attendance (G-years), short-term disability claims, and more. | will be reaching out to seek the legal advice of a labor attorney as I do not want the school to find itself in some unnecessary legal battle over discrimination, unemployment issues, or some other violation of employment law. | maintain my desire to help this individual in some way, but remain focused on the well-being of the students. Hopetully, the record will show this concern, in spite of the treatment | received in the meeting. Thank you. Sincerely, Nick Nicholas C.
