Fact Sheet
Overview
A night of live music, drinks, local food, and of course great company. The vision for
Rock the Hunger is an event that embodies the joy of youth. The goal in organizing
this night is to raise funds to help supply the youth that reside at Covenant House
Toronto with the funds to run their culinary program Cooking for Life.

Charity
Covenant House Toronto is Canadas largest homeless youth support centre.
Covenant House Toronto improves lives by offering the greatest range of support
and services in one place. They are a national leader in educating and advocating
for at-risk and homeless youth in Toronto, by providing prevention and awareness
programs and influencing public policy. Covenant House Toronto changes the lives of
approximately 3,000 youth every year.

Event Highlights
The event will feature local bands Redsteps and The Exide. Both bands feature
young local talent who have generously offered to help support the cause by
headlining the event.
8 p.m. - Redsteps
9 p.m. - The Exide
An array of delicious food from local restaurants tzatziki, Manotas Fine Foods and
Pretty Sweet Cupcakes will be available throughout the evening. In addition, the

event will feature a raffle with prizes from local businesses who have donated gift
certificates and merchandise to support the cause.
