College Fair Visit Reflection Insights

The student attended a college fair in Boston with their junior class from BACS. At the fair, they talked to college representatives to learn about typical workloads, financial aid packages, and popular majors. They focused their time on colleges already on their list. One thing they learned was that Ivy League schools do not attend college fairs. The student asked many questions at booths, which meant they did not have enough time to visit all colleges. For future visits, they will ask about tutoring programs. After the fair, the student was still unsure about which colleges felt like the right fit.

College Visit Reflection 2

College/ University Visited: College Fair
Campus Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Who attended this visit with you?
The BACS junior class.
What are three things you did on your visit?
During this visit I talked to college representatives, asked them how much time their students
spent on work, what their typical financial aid package was like, and what were their most
popular majors. During this visit, I tried to make my time more wisely, by going to the colleges
on my list.

What is one thing you learned that you did not know before?
That select schools, like Ivy leagues, dont come to college fairs.
What did you not do that you wished you have done while you were there?
I dont know if this was a bad thing, but I asked lots of questions whenever I was at the college
booths. This made it so that I did not have enough time to visit all the colleges I wanted to go to.
Reflecting on this visit, what is one question you didn't ask but will ask on a future visit?
What type of tutoring program do you have?

After seeing what these colleges have to offer, are you interested in attending any?
I am still just as lost about choosing a college. Sure I have a list in mind, but no college has
made me feel like I really belonged there.
