1. How well did your advisory collaborate in creating the PowerPoint and leading the meeting? What worked well and what did not work well? We did a good job, I feel. I think that we could have worked more on the actual PowerPoint. It had been set up for a week before any of us actually started working on it. There were some people who were assigned slides, but didnt complete them, which resulted in a short presentation. There was some confusion on who had what day (to present) and I just felt it was rushed. 2. How would you describe your role in the process? Leader? Contributor? Creative designer? Main speaker? On a scale of 1 10, how meaningful were your contributions & why? I was a contributor when creating the presentation, I always say Ill do whatever is left over, because I dont have a preference for any of the slides. During the presentation, I read the longest slides because sometimes my peers dont want to or feel uncomfortable; I feel okay reading in front of the school, but I am not sure if this makes me a leader. I feel that my contribution was a 7 because I helped in the ways that were asked, and I did the best I could, but didnt excel at all. 3. What did you learn about yourself from the process of working with your advisory to lead morning meeting? I feel that a similar situation arises every morning meeting. I sit, ready to present and I feel that we could have done better; from the PowerPoint, to the actual presentation, there seems that something always goes wrong. Most of the time its the sound when we are playing a video. What I learned about myself is that I am flexible enough to take on any role that is given to me, and most importantly I am comfortable in different roles. 4. How could you, or your advisory, improve morning meeting next time? We could spend more time on the PowerPoint, practice presenting with each other, and make sure the sound works before we present. 5. What do you personally hope to do differently next time? I hope that we can work as a team to make the morning meeting presentation go as smoothly as possible.
