ADJUSTABLE LANGUAGE
The adjustable in language can be divide into several

categories:
General adjustable language
Technical adjustable language
Law adjustable language
Religion adjustable language
Classic adjustable language
Creative adjustable language
Advertisement adjustable language

General Adjustable Language

The characteristics in this language:


Do not contain any technical terms.
Use simple structure sentences.
Do not use any borrowed words.

Technical Adjustable Language


The characteristics in this language:
- Use many specific terms in any specific field.
- Usually contains illustration (graphics, pie chart, maps,
etc.)
- The structure of the sentence contains subject and
predicate.
- The sentence will usually define the terms that have been
used.

Law Adjustable Language


Usually, this type of sentence do not contain any pictures,
diagrams, graphs, tables and illustrations.
The sentence structure includes the principles in law,
followed by the conditions, and lastly the results of the
law.

Religion Adjustable Language


Contains the elements of classic language, especially or
stressed on the words which have been used in a
particular sentence.
Contains specific terms for specific religion (Al-Quran,
Bible).
Includes many forms of story.

Classic Adjustable Language

The first text/cript was written in Jawi.


The text usually do not have any specific paragraphs.
The sentence structure uses passive sentence structure.
Contains royal terms.

Creative Adjustable Language


Uses the structure of active and passive sentences.
Uses in forms of dialogue such in drama script.
It usually shows the creativeness by using the literature of
the language.
It do not contains any specific characteristics of technical
language and did not involved any illustrations.
Have the elements of ambiguity from the usage of words
and sentence structure.

Advertisement Adjustable
Language
Contains the usage of graphic elements and illustrations in printed

advertisement.
Contains moving objects or pictures and also music or audio.
Uses varieties of colours especially on the printed and sight-hear
advertisement.
The sentence structure is short and uses single sentences.
Uses rhetoric elements or manipulation in language in effective ways.
Uses the stylish terms of words.
Uses many ways in persuading and attracting customers such as bait.
