Week Introduction

During week 4, you will explore/identify fact and opinion


statements. You will also develop your own inference statement
and conclusion. We will work on recognizing word meaning and
using graphic organizers to help you map out your thinking/ideas
for writing and reading assignments.

Discussions
Participate in Discussion 4.1- Fact vs Opinion vs Inference
Directions- Define: Fact, Opinion, and Inference (Be sure that your
definitions are in your own words).Read article and then identify at
least one fact, one opinion, and make one inference from the article.
Discussion Requirements
1. Initial response should have at least 100 words.
2. Reply to at least 2 students (one word replies will not be counted
e.g. "Good Job").

3. Your replies should have at least 30 words.

Assignments
All of the following assignments are DUE no later than Sunday, by
Midnight.
