Work Experience:
Resistor Software - President Jan. 2001 – Present
Incorporated as a small independent software vendor to provide advanced web
application software to niche markets. Successful applications continue to provide
excellent results and small ongoing revenue. Provide general consulting as an
engineer to local businesses and non-profits.

DNL, Inc.: Senior Engineer January 1994 – December 1999


Managed a small team of research and development engineers providing Non-
Destructive testing of steel bridges. Major clients like CN and CP Rail, Amtrack and
other infrastructure groups like Transport Quebec relied on DNL to provide bridge
safety inspections using Acoustic Emission and Ultrasonic technologies.
Responsible for reports, field testing, data collection,data analysis, client
interactions and staffing. Best Experience was working on the famous Little Hells
Gate bridge, built by Gustav Lindenthal in New York City.

Monac Inc: Software Developer Jan. 1990 - Dec 1993


Responsible for C and assembler programming, custom hardware architectures,
signal processing algorithms, field testing and other research and development
projects within the company. Worked with a team of engineers and technologists to
develop advanced non-destructive testing systems. Best Experience was
delivering a custom built bridge inspection computer to the New York City
Department of Transportation, and doing an Ouzo shot to celebrate with the
Director.

Other Interests:
My wife, three kids and cat occupy my time, as well as growing fruit and vegetables
in my summer garden. I play defense for the Ninja Tune Wicked Deadly Karate
Chops hockey team, and I love spending time in the Canadian Shield whitewater
canoeing and camping.
