ALCATEL-LUCENT 9500

MICROWAVE PACKET RADIO

RELEASE 4.1 ANSI

The Alcatel-Lucent 9500 Microwave Packet Radio (MPR) addresses all microwave applications
with a single product family for all traffic types. Both public and private service providers now
have a microwave platform that adds exceptional functionality to their networks. The AlcatelLucent 9500 MPR handles packet traffic natively, while still fully supporting TDM circuits,
providing a means to seamlessly migrate to an all-IP infrastructure.

Microwave Service Switch-8 (MSS-8)

Microwave Service Switch-4 (MSS-4)

The Alcatel-Lucent 9500 Microwave Packet

Radio (MPR) addresses all microwave
applications with a single product family
from full outdoor to full indoor, plus
split-mount and nodal configurations
for hybrid and full-packet networks. The
operators can maintain their current mode
of operation and simultaneously migrate
to packet as data traffic grows. Mobile
service providers, private operators and
carriers now have a packet microwave
platform that adds exceptional functionality to their networks.

BENEFITS
