PRINCIPALS AWARD:

This student has made it his/her goal to get the principals award
this year. They came to me at the end of 1 st quarter, and asked
what they could do in order to get the award. Since this student
gets great scores academically, and always goes above and
beyond, I talked with him/her about some of the other behaviors
that help kids get the principals award- being a good citizen, not
just to your friends, but everyone in the class. They should try to
be a leader that kids respect by showing fairness and allowing
everyone to take a role in activities. I noticed throughout the year
that this student started to really show these behaviors more and
more. After the 3rd quarter pep rally happened, and this student
saw the winner, he/she wrote me a note which said they feel like
they truly understand what it means to get this honor, and it
reflected how much theyve grown from the beginning of the year.
Through this persons hard work, I feel theyve made a very

positive change in our class, and it has spread out to our entire
grade level. This is why I feel Rachel Broughton should get this
quarters principals award!
