Rational of the Study

This study sought to prove the level of Satisfaction in Choosing strand of Grade 11

Senior High School of Graceville National High School. The result of the findings gathered were

also analyzed and interpreted.

Statement of the Problem


1. What is the profile of the respondents in terms of:
1.1 Age?
1.2 Gender?
1.3 Family Background?
1.4 Monthly Income?
2. What the level of satisfaction on the chosen strand of the Grade 11 Senior High learners

in terms of:
2.1 Willingness?
2.2 Experience?
2.3 Knowledge?
3. What are the significant in choosing strand of Grade 11 learners in Senior High School

Program?
4. Why do Grade 11 Senior High School learners choose their strand?
5. What are the effects of choosing their current strand in the near future of Senior High

School learners in terms of:


5.1 College?
5.2 Employment?
5.3 Business?

5.4 Further Training?

Research Design
This study used the mixed qualitative and quantitative research method approach.

Willingness, Experience, and Knowledge Scale (WEKS) Survey Questionnaire was used as

quantitative for the weighted mean to determine the Level of Satisfaction in Choosing Strand of

Grade 11 Senior High School learners of Graceville National High School. And to support the

findings of WEKS survey, the researcher made and used the Interview Guide Question (IGQ) as

qualitative method to support the result of findings of data.

In this study Qualitative method was used to gain an understanding of underlying

reasons, opinions, and motivations. It provides insights into the problem or helps to develop

ideas or hypotheses for potential quantitative research. Qualitative Research is also used to

uncover trends in thought and opinions, and dive deeper into the problem. And Quantitative

method used to quantify the problem into usable statistics and that is the survey questionnaire

that the researcher makes and use to this study. It is used to quantify attitudes, opinions

behaviors, and other defined variables and generalize results from a larger sample population.

Quantitative research uses measurable data to formulate facts and uncover patterns in research.
