 CHAPTER l INTRODUCTION

Background of the Study

As in case in the past, most people today still believe that mathematics is all about computation.
However, computation, for mathematician , is merely a tool for comprehending structures,
relationship and patterns of mathematical concept and therefore producing solutions for
complex real life problems ( Romberg, 1983).

This perspective of mathematicians has gained more attention and importance with rapid
advancements in information and communication technologies. It has become necessity for
people of all ages to reach , analyze , and apply the mathematical knowledge effectively and
efficiently to be successful citizens in our information age, in particular, students need to be
well equipped with higher. Order mathe matical knowledge ( Wilson , 1990a).

The Aime of this study is to investigate that the effects of tiredness to the Academic Math
Subject of Grade 11 Students.

 Scope and Delimitation

This study Focused to determine the effects of tiredness to the Academic Math Subject of
Grade 11 Students in a form of a survey. The Respondents of this study are the Grade 11
Students of Sitog National High school, Sitog Katipunan Zamboanga del Norte. The Study was
conducted During the Academic fear of 2022-2023. The personal information needed for The
Study are age, gender and Their warming outcomes towards the core competencies.

Importance of the study

The research believes that study will not only yield data that Will be helpful to her, more to the
following groups of people

The LEARNERS: In particular the Grade 11 Students will be equipped with what factors affect
Their learning.

TEACHER : The study's Insights can benefit teachers in guiding their student's more effectively ,
developing more usable strategies for teaching and assessing students learning , and better
suite the specific needs of their students.

SCHOOL: The outcome of this study will be basis for a program which will benefit schools,
evaluating quality of education of teachers through the use of computer.
 Definition of terms

Effects: refers to a result consequence or outcome of some action, event, agent or cause as it
does In the affects of reading the article was so profound that she immediately reconsidered
her own methodology.

Tiredeness: many cases of tiredness from fatigue which is an overwhelming tiredness that
doesn't relieved by rest and sleep you may have an underlying medical condition.Academic
math subjects is a foundamental part of human thought and logic and integral to attempts at
understanding the world and ourselves.

CHAPTER ll

METHODOLOGY

The Methodology describe and explains about the different procedures including research
design , respondents of the study , research instrument, validity and reliability of the Instrument,
and data gathering procedures as well as the statistical treatment and analysis.

The descriptive method was used in this study . Descriptive research involves the description,
recording analysis and interpretation of the present nature, composition or processes of
phenomena which focuses on prevailing condition, or how a person, group or thing behaves of
functions in the present. It often involves some type of comparison or contrast .In other words .
Descriptive research maybe defined as a purposive process of gathering , analyzing, classifying
and tabulating data about prevailing conditions , practices beliefs , processes , trends and
cause effect relationship and then making adequete and accurate interpretation about such
data with or without the aid of statistical methods.
Research Design

The Research use quantitative research utilizing descriptive research design using
questionnaire. Instrument to gather data from the Sample learning from the Grade 11 Students.
To determine the effects of tiredeness to the Academic Math Subject of Grade 11 Students.

In this research using a Random sampling to Identify the sample of the population of grade 11
using z- test

This research is conducted in Sitog National high School with the total population of students
as of School year 2022-2023.

Instrumentation and Data Collection

In Conducting this study , a Survey questionnaire was used .The checklist questionnaire were
composed of two parts. The first is the profile of respondent the second part Consist of
questions intended to assessed the effects of tiredeness to the Academic Math Subject of
Grade 11 students.

A total of fifteen (15) respondents, Composed of Grade 11 students of Sitog National high
School, Sitog Katipunan Zamboanga Del Norte were utilized by the research for the
accomplishment of this research. Survey questionnaire were disseminated with the Validation
of the researcher's adviser and an internal expert upon the approval of the school principal for
the reason of data gathering

Validation of the Instrument

-The questionner protocol contains two major sections: the participant's background
information and the main question.The background information section asked about the
student's names, ages, grade level, and gender. The items In the main questions covered
question relating to Student' perception and overall experience toward online learning and in the
Use of ICT the learning process.
Data Analysis
 Ethical Considerations

- The researcher highly respected the privacy of the respondents therefore,the freedom to
voluntarily join or quit the research at any time is part of respecting their human rights.The
Respondents signature on the permission form confirmed that they have understood the study
procedure. After acquiring written informed consent. The researcher will only begin data
collecting.Aside from asking for their consent, they were also informed of the rationale and
purpose of the study. The researcher have sworn to protect the anonymity of the respondents in
this Study. The respondents were given the assurance that all information acquired will be kept
private and shall be used for research purpose only.
