PRINCIPALS AWARD: (use reverse side for description)

I would like to nominate Charlotte Binns for principals award. To me, she exemplifies
a wonderful example of the 4 Cs. She is a leader in groups with her collaborationinstinctively she knows how to organize what to do, and her group members respect
her in that natural role. For communication, Charlotte is polite in her interactions with
others- for example when giving feedback during a group project, she was able to say
positives in a descriptive way, and define areas the child could work on in a
constructive way. For creativity, Charlotte shows level 4 work in class projects by
taking the basics of what to add to her product and add her own spin to it. Her group
was so impressed by her character PBL, where she created slides which were
beautifully designed, and included the right amount of organized information and
images to support her character interactions. For critical thinking, I can always count
on Charlotte to use her strategies in Math, think more deeply about the text in
Reading, and give us insight into her writing. Charlotte is a very deserving recipient
of this important award.
