reported that every household has two slaves.

without a passport are, on a first occasion,
returned in disgrace, but after a second offence
they are placed in slavery;
Utopians do not like to engage in war. However
they try to capture, rather than kill, enemies;
There are several religions on the island:moonworshipers,sun-worshipers,planetworshipers,ancestor-worshipersand
monotheists, but each is tolerant of the others.
