Welcome to the Apollo Tavern!!!


The Apollo Tavern adopted its name from Apollo the Sun God, who brings life-giving
heat and light to Earth. As patron God of musicians and poets, he carries a lyre and
his symbol represents the egg of creation. He is considered the ideal of manly
beauty, so that a very handsome man might be called an Apollo. He is also the God
of poetry and music.
With the same beauty we characterize the food you will find here. A well established
restaurant and a firm favourite with both the locals and those coming to sample some
of the best Cypriot food on the Island, where fine Cypriot cuisine, quality, fresh
ingredients and ambience meet on our Cape.
A selection of local dishes to meet all appetites is available. Our Chef handpicks the
ingredients to ensure you receive the best quality possible.
Our priority lies in choosing ingredients from the region. Pissouri Halloumi, fresh
herbs and spices from the surrounding mountains, carobs, olive oil and Zivania.
This region around the Cape is surrounded by small villages that produce the finest of
regional ingredients for you.
We thrive on our home made COLUMBIAS Best Ice Cream and local speciality
desserts.
We hope you enjoy what we have prepared and please feel free to speak with our
