Hai how are you?

Q: Do people only move forward in these stages? If they do return to an earlier stage, what
is the likelihood of their being able to make the eventual transition to one of the later
stages?
A: As organizations rely more on lateral moves to develop their people, we are seeing more and more
individuals having to return to an earlier stage.
However, if the lateral move is well planned, most of these individuals quickly move back into the
stage they were in prior to the move. Making a temporary transition to an earlier development stage is
often essential to ones long-term growth.
