Resignation Letter from Consultant

Geraldine Painaga is resigning from her position as a consultant at Sutherland Global Services due to her bipolar disorder, which affects her ability to work. She apologizes for missing work last week without notice. To whom it may concern:

I am writing to formally notify you that I have decided to resign from my position as
consultant with Sutherland. I apologize for not showing up for work this past week,
most especially for not being able to give any prior notice.
I have bipolar disorder and I am currently experiencing manic depression. My
condition really affects my ability to work. As you know, my job is important to me.
However, due to personal problems, I am not able to fulfill the responsibilities of my
role. There are times when I can hardly focus on my job and lose concentration and I
feel it is in the best interest of the company that I quit the position.
I have thoroughly enjoyed the work environment and the professional atmosphere.
The experience and knowledge gained during my short association with this
company have provided career growth and satisfaction, and I will always speak
highly of this company.
I hope for your kind consideration.
Thank you and I wish you and the company success.

Sincerely yours,

Geraldine M. Painaga
