Balaji Institute of International Business (BIIB)
Balaji Institute of International Business (BIIB)
To,
All the Aspirants
Dear Student,
1.Let us compliment you for taking the interest to join the Futuristic, Job Oriented and
Ms. Parul Vasudeva and Ms. Deepika
Saharan, the PGDM students of BIMM
are seen making a presentation of the
Recognised Management Programme. Sri Balaji Society welcomes you to explore the Placement Brochure to Mr. Anil Ambani,
Group Chairman & CEO of Reliance Anil
possibilities of joining the prestigious management institutes of Sri Balaji Society (SBS). Dhirubhai Ambani Group.
SBS is a Registered Charitable Trust and this Society is Two year full time Post Graduate
Courses in management.
2. This communication will give you a fair idea about the management institutes of Sri
Balaji Society. And also, will give clarifications to those who want to join our offering
approved / recognised by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of
HRD, Govt. of India. Post Graduate Programmes in management to build their corporate
careers.
3. You may have seen in our advertisements. . . Our mission statement is just in two
lines, that is, 'We Build Corporate Careers. . . Yes, We build the Future. . .'’ We are
proud to state that, we have built the careers of thousands of students who are growing
in the Corporate World globally. You may visit our website to know more about our
Alumni.
a) Discipline, Dedication and Determination. To impart training for the mind and body
to inculcate productive life style and following the right code of conduct which will
facilitate the right grooming and holistic personality development of those who join
us. We want our students to be ambitious, goal oriented and result oriented . We provide
the right training, counseling and help for the same.
b) Time Tested Faculties from the Premier B- Schools with good experience from the
corporate world and academia to impart the training and to undertake the grooming
process of our students.
d) Excellent track record for Campus Placements. Despite economic slow down and
recession last year, Sri Balaji Society enjoyed campus placements for almost all the
students which in itself is a record. The name of all the students placed and their
company are publicly displayed in all the notice boards of the Institutes. The Campus
Placements were in great companies from all over India with respectable compensation
packages. Few students were also placed abroad. The campus placements are almost
centralised for all the four B-
schools of Sri Balaji Society.
Academic Block
e) Centralised training/grooming. The process of academic training for all the four
management institutes are centralised so as to ensure that common standards are
maintained in all the four B- schools. that enables us to cater for the common Campus
Placement opportunities for all the qualifying students of all the four institutes.
f) Why separate Institutes? The establishment of separate management institutes is to
facilitate proper command and control, focus on each student and to provide adequate
administrative coverage
instead of having a crowded atmosphere. Moreover functional specialisations such as
Telecom Management (only for engineers) and International Business require distinct
course curriculum and in order to do justice separate establishments are necessary.
Above all, all the four institutes are approved as separate institutes by All India Council
of Technical education (AICTE). And the 'intake' for each course in each institute has
been prescribed.
g) Regular corporate Interface. Where almost 100 Corporate Stalwarts visit and
interact with our students through various mode of training. The photographs of few
amongst those corporate stalwarts are featured here. We thank them for taking out time
for our students. The photographs of many more stalwarts are not published here for
want of space.
h) SBS: A Mini India. Where students from all over the country live together, learn
together, celebrate the festivals together and enjoy learning and partying together in the
campus.
i) No Intermediaries/ Brokers for our admission. We do not have any brokers or
intermediaries in the admission process. Admission is strictly on merit. We are proud to
state that we are standing tall by virtue of our past performance and hence large number
of qualified students apply for admission to the various institutes of Sri Balaji Society.
And, each one of them is seen and screened by our expert committee for admission. The
selection process are held in most of the State Capitals of India on different dates.
j) Admission Process in cities. The dates for the Admission Process are spread over two
months or so (ordinarily we spent one or two days in state capital cities as we will be
calling the students in a bach of 200 per day to be seen by an expert panel of 10
members). We declare the merit list on completion of the entire selection process in all
the cities.
5. Sri Balaji Society is known for quality and commitment to the cause of students and
presently running the following management institutes/colleges:

6. The change in the names was necessitated consequent to a direction from AICTE
when we applied for the approval / recognition by them. The founder of Sri Balaji
Society is a devotee of Lord Venkateshwara and therefore he wanted to run the
institutes in the name of Lord Venkateshwara.
8. We categorically state that we do not have any management institute other than
those mentioned above either in Pune or in any part of the country although many are
replicating our websites and names to mislead the public.
9. We have deliberately not spread to any other cities or started more institutes in other
cities. You should not fall prey if one claims any association / affiliation with us. If any
one does so, you should directly complain to the police.

18. The hostel accommodation is for the first year students only as we want the

Admission Procedure
b) Pre-entry qualification for admission to all the courses of our institutes is an academic
track record of first class throughout. (that is 60% in 10th standard, 12th standard and
graduation). Perhaps, we are the first institute to prescribe such a pre- entry
qualification for admission. However, those in the last year of Graduation can
also apply provided they are sure that, they will maintain first class in the
final examination also.
c) Our Academic Session will commence on 18th June 2010. However for those whose
examination are scheduled to be held after 18 June 2010 or those who need to take
leave from the classes for more than 20 days, it is stated that, they can afford to do so
provided they are willing to attend classes fully and completely for the rest of their
institute days as that will ensure that they maintain the minimum attendance of 80% to
be eligible to appear in the examination. Incase, they maintain the same standard of
attendance, there is a definite possibility to cross 90% of attendance in the first year
itself. The problem arises only in case of those who join late and do not maintain full
attendance even after joining.
d) We accept CAT / MAT scores for short listing the candidates. However, the weightage
of MAT scores are equalised to the weightage of CAT through a scientific system.
e) To make our merit list, the weightage given to CAT/ MAT is 30%. The weightage given
to the GD panel is 40%. The weightage given to Interview Panel is 30%. The mark allotted
to the essay is 30 and 1/3 of the mark obtained by the applicant in essay is added to the
total marks. Thus the merit list is drawn out of 110 marks.
